Repair Windows 7 MBR (Master Boot Record)

Boot from the Windows 7 disc, choose Repair > Command Prompt

Once at the X:Sources prompt run the following commands;
1. bootrec /FixBoot. Writes a boot sector onto the system partition to start Windows

2. bootrec /ScanOs. Scans all disks for Windows installations and displays them to you.

3. bootrec /RebuildBcd. Scans all disks for Windows installations and prompts you to pick the ones you want to ad to the BCD.

I’ve only done options 1&2 to fix it myself.
